Radiator convection heat dissipation is the mainstream heat dissipation method in the industry. This heat dissipation method has a fast heat dissipation rate, but there are many factors that affect heat dissipation. So what are the factors that affect the convection heat dissipation of the heating radiator? Let's take a look along with the LOFIX radiator below.
Factor One, the influence of thermal contact resistance on heat dissipation. Contact thermal resistance will have a very large impact on the heat dissipation of the radiator, and poor contact will affect more than 20%. For the copper tube convection radiator, the interference between the copper tube and the convection plate is required to be 0.1mm. Steel welded finned tube is better than a finned radiator.
Factor two, the effect of fin height on heat dissipation. Four steel finned tube convection radiators whose tube fin height is increased from 15mm to 17mm, the heat dissipation area is increased by about 20%, and the heat dissipation capacity is increased by about 6%. This indicates that the fin tube height and other structural dimensions are more reasonable. It is not economical to increase the heat dissipation by the height of the chip.
Factor three, the influence of fin spacing on heat dissipation. Four steel finned tube convection radiators with 15mm tube fin height, the fin pitch is 8mm reduced by 6mm, and the heat dissipation is increased by 13%; but it is not that the smaller the fin pitch, the better. Generally, the two tubes are 3~4mm, and the four tube fin pitch is 4 ~5mm, six tubes 5~6mm. Copper tube convection radiator generally has two tubes of 3~4mm. The fin pitch and height, the number of tubes and other structural dimensions have mutual influence on the heat dissipation.
